Detto Fatto in Meersburg (Bodensee)

Very bad. Boss or chief instructor is very unfriendly. Food typical touristic handling. Salt and pepper shakers not for turning, but cheapest shakers. On every table there is a reservation so that customers who only want to drink a coffee can be rejected. Absolutely bad and not a recommendation

I wanted to go to the toilet with my son (3 years old) and then eat ice cream in the same bar (it said on the awning that there was ice cream here). Was kicked out of the restaurant with the words that only guests are allowed to use the toilet (actually wanted to be "guests") and there is no ice cream here either. My reference to the advertisement was "handled" with clumsy comments.

We, i.e. I, my wife and my two children, aged 7 years and 11 months, wanted to eat something in this restaurant in the afternoon of August 3rd, 2020. The restaurant was empty, it was raining heavily outside! The owner, a gentleman around 60 years of age (probably of Portuguese descent - he asked me in Portuguese if I was Portuguese), was so unfriendly, I have never experienced that! We shouldn't put our stroller with our baby "there" but there (as I said, the restaurant was empty), we were asked whether we wanted to eat or just drink and my 7 year old, who wanted to enter an adjoining room with tables and chairs "whistled back". When I was told that the restaurant was empty and that we as guests could sit wherever we wanted, I was told that he would be in charge here ... I absolutely agreed with the man and we left the establishment in the rain . When I took one photo (to remember the restaurant later and write this review) other people stepped in and out again because she "only" wanted to have coffee and cake, which the owner probably didn't offer or not wanted ... That is strange because on the wall it says "Coffee + Cake": S The essence of it all: I HAVE NEVER EXPERIENCED SUCH A RUDE HOSTHOUSE !!

They seriously charge 2 euros for 0.3 liters of tap water

Very unfriendly, although there were still free tables we were asked to leave. The children with us were probably the problem. We have been treated so badly before. For us it was, from now on we will take a long detour there. M..er.da

Giovanni cooks excellent and is also happy to respond to special requests. Super delicious pizzas but also all other dishes are highly recommended! My favorite "colorful salad with prawns" ... always delicious. Excellent service and always worth a visit. Keep it up ? Today again with Giovanni in the lower town of Meersburg ... for me the best pizzas outside of Italy ?? ... fresh, tasty and with a brilliant base. Simply Bella Italia on Lake Constance

super friendly service, have been here twice and were very satisfied, food was very good and plentiful we would love to come back.

Friendly service, quiet place in the middle of the old town, nice atmosphere - unfortunately very disappointing food - the spaghetti frutti di mare tasted bland of frozen goods and the spaghetti gorgonzola drowned in water-cream-cheese sauce and tasted - but both dishes forced us after 30 min because of gastrointestinal complaints several times to the toilet in the underground garage! Nausea - if you still have 50 minutes to drive back to the pension - is really no fun - too bad - since we were vacationers we will definitely not eat there!

insolent: for drinks you are not served and have to go - at 3pm is "only meal time" (even though there were still some tables free)

Pizza was okay and went fairly quickly. Have shared two, but were not allowed to eat at the table because "one dish per person" must be ordered. In addition, the operation looked annoyed. Therefore a total of 2 stars.

We ate outside during the Corona period, we didn't go inside. We were greeted immediately on arrival, our table was disinfected and we received the standard card, as well as the information about the changing offers on the black board. I ordered the pizza parma (photo), my friend the spaghetti amalfi with seafood. The drinks came after a few minutes and our dishes were served after about 15-20 minutes. My pizza was filled and tasted good. For my taste there could have been more tomato sauce on it, but I'm very critical of pizzas. My friend thought his noodles were delicious. The espresso afterwards was also very good. The service is friendly, so I give 4 stars for the overall impression.

It's a shame that you can't give 0 STARS even that would be too MUCH ... !!! During a trip to Meersburg we wanted to have something to eat and drink here, There were still two tables free on the terrace, there was nothing that was reserved and we sat down. After 2min. when the waiter was serving a table next to her, she shook her head and scolded us at what we thought of sitting there ... I asked if the whole thing could be more friendly? Then she cursed and that was clearly too much for us ... We got up and went to a restaurant where we were friendly and appreciated the guest ... Incomprehensible where the restaurants have fewer guests anyway because of Corona, such behavior

For us the best pizzeria in the world ❤️ We regularly come here again and again. The pizza is by far the best and the staff are always friendly and familiar. So that you will be around for a long time.

Four of us came to the restaurant, which was not even filled to one third, and I was asked to greet me right away if I wanted to eat something that I have affirmed in the affirmative. After all had ordered their drinks and I had my main course, a friend (the second who was asked after the court after the court) wanted to order food. Oh tragedy! The waitress snorted, shook his head unabashedly and rolled his eyes, and I asked her about the problem. Her answer: "I just asked her if you want to eat something" Me: "Yes, I also want to eat something, but apparently not everyone at the table" How does the Detto Fatto imagine that? Then they ask each guest individually before he takes his seat, if he also sure ordered a dish. Even better, just set up a sign with "rules for guests" in front of the bar. After this presentation, we have canceled our order immediately and have moved about 10 meters to the nearest restaurant, have eaten there well, drunk and wondered at the empty tables in Detto Fatto. It is inexplicable how a half-empty restaurant can afford to treat its guests like this.

Small but very cozy restaurant. Food is fresh and delicious. On several visits I always had the opportunity to see the kitchen. It was always clean and the required products were handled carefully. - The owners are more than friendly. We really enjoyed the hospitality. We will gladly come again and again.

Delicious food good prices. The spouses who run this local are always friendly. We have been there several times it is all delicious.

We were there twice. The food was good and the service too. The lady was very accommodating and friendly. They have such a great, spicy garlic oil. I loved that, but the recipe was secret. ;-)

Best Italian in Meersburg. A little quieter, because not on the promenade. The chef cooks himself and serves his charming wife. Be sure to test shrimp mm garlic with panini rolls. Also likes to fulfill special wishes.

Very friendly staff and the gluten free pizza is delicious. Will come again for sure thanks for the great service.

Rude service, didn't say there are no soups in summer. High prices for almost no reason and pure quality, ice cream only after 15:00. No Wi-Fi. Would not recommend

Over priced bland food and drinks, unfriendly service, worst one we have tried in Meersberg, will not be visiting again for dining experience.
